RSS chief to take part in ''contemporary motherhood'' meet in Hyderabad on July 26

Hyderabad, Jul 17: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat will attend on July 26 an interactive session with women intelligentsia on 'Contemporary Motherhood (Yugankul Matrutva)', a woman empowerment organisation said here on Friday. National Organising Secretary, Vishwamangalya Sabha, Vrushali Joshi told reporters here that the organisation has been working on empowerment of women, strengthening of families, motherhood and social awakening for the past 16 years. Bhagwat will address the gathering and interact with participants from southern states on women-centric issues on July 26 in Hyderabad, she said. Vishwamangalya Sabha is guided by the motto 'Na Matuh Par Daivatvam' (There is no deity greater than the mother), she said and claimed that about six lakh women in the country are connected to her organisation. A woman is faced with several challenges, including work-life balance, giving adequate time to their children and maintaining balance between tradition and modernity, Joshi added.
