Srinagar, Sept 5: Jammu and Kashmir Police has identified the terrorist killed during Operation Ashdar as Yasir, a Pakistani national affiliated with the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
In a post on social media, the police said the identity of the slain terrorist was established following the operation. The post carried the message, “You Can Run But You Can’t Hide!”
According to police, Yasir was a Pakistani national and associated with the proscribed terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba.
The development comes amid intensified counter-terrorism operations across Jammu and Kashmir to track and neutralise foreign militants operating in the region.
The police also tagged the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir in its social media post.
