NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 18: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday announced the results of the re-examination conducted for the English, Commerce and Sociology papers of the UGC-NET June 2026 examination.
The re-examination was conducted after candidates raised complaints regarding errors in the question papers for the three subjects.
The NTA said candidates can check and download their scorecards through the official UGC-NET website.
The English paper was conducted on September 9 from 9 AM to noon in the first shift, while the Commerce paper was held on the same day from 3 PM to 6 PM in the second shift.
The Sociology paper was conducted on September 10 from 9 AM to noon in the first shift.
The NTA had conducted the UGC-NET June 2026 examination between June 22 and June 30 across 87 subjects.
The examination determines eligibility for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Assistant Professor, and admission to PhD programmes.
Candidates who appeared for the re-examination can now access their updated results and scorecards through the official examination portal.
