Kishtwar, Sept 5: At least two persons were killed after an oil tanker met with an accident in the Pathimhal area of Palmar in Kishtwar district on Saturday, officials said.
According to officials, the tanker was travelling through the area when it met with an accident at Pathimhal, resulting in the on-the-spot deaths of two persons travelling in the vehicle.
Soon after the incident, police personnel and local residents rushed to the spot and initiated relief and rescue efforts.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and launched an investigation. The identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.
