Jammu, Sept 7: Police in Arnia have arrested six alleged members of the Khouf Gang in connection with a case involving threats to a man at Kool Kalan on September 3, officials said on Monday.
According to police, the accused, all residents of Bishnah, allegedly threatened Ashwani Kumar by displaying a pistol and tokkas.
Acting on the complaint, Police Station Arnia launched an investigation and apprehended all six accused on Monday.
During the arrests, police recovered a pistol along with a magazine, three live rounds and five tokkas from their possession.
Further investigation is underway to ascertain the accused persons' involvement in other criminal activities and to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
