Northern Railway to Add Addl Coach to Jammu–New Delhi Rajdhani on July 25

JAMMU: In view of the expected passenger rush and to enhance travel convenience, Northern Railway's Jammu Division has decided to temporarily attach one additional Third AC (3AC) coach to Train No. 12426, the Jammu–New Delhi Rajdhani Express, on July 25, 2026. The additional coach is expected to increase seat availability, provide more reservation options for passengers, help reduce the waiting list, and improve the chances of securing confirmed tickets, including for last-minute travellers. Passengers are advised to check their reservation status before commencing their journey through the IRCTC website, the NTES app, or by calling the 139 Railway Helpline. Northern Railway stated that enhancing passenger convenience and continuously improving services remain among the top priorities of the Jammu Division.
