Gold Futures Rise ₹803 to ₹1.51 Lakh per 10 Grams on Firm Demand

NEW DELHI, SEPT 16: Gold prices climbed by ₹803 to ₹1,51,612 per 10 grams in futures trading on Wednesday, supported by firm spot demand and fresh positions taken by market participants.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the gold contract for October delivery advanced ₹803, or 0.53 per cent, to ₹1,51,612 per 10 grams. The contract recorded a business turnover of 775 lots during the session.

Market analysts attributed the rise to fresh buying and position-building by traders amid firm demand for the precious metal.

Gold futures also gained in international markets, rising 0.70 per cent to USD 4,322.14 per ounce in New York.

The latest movement comes as gold continues to trade at elevated levels, with investors closely tracking global market trends and demand conditions.
