CM Omar Abdullah Condemns Anantnag Terror Attack, Pays Tribute to Martyred Policeman
Srinagar, July 22: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday condemned the terrorist attack in Anantnag that claimed the life of Head Constable Ashiq Hussain of the 3rd Battalion, India Reserve Police (IRP).
Expressing grief over the loss, the Chief Minister said the police officer made the ultimate sacrifice while performing his duty.
In a post on X, Omar Abdullah said he was deeply saddened by the martyrdom of Head Constable Ashiq Hussain and described the attack as a cowardly act of terror.
He strongly condemned the attack and extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, praying for eternal peace to the departed soul.
