LEH, Aug 13: A 5.5-magnitude earthquake jolted Ladakh’s Leh early Thursday morning, triggering tremors across the region. No loss of life or damage to property has been reported so far.
According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake occurred at around 6:05 am at a depth of 10 kilometres.
The epicentre of the earthquake was not immediately known. Authorities are monitoring the situation, and further details are awaited.
