Security Forces Launch Search Operation For Two Suspected Terrorists In Rajouri’s Thanamandi

Jammu, July 14: Security forces on Tuesday launched a massive search operation in several villages of Thanamandi area in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district after CCTV footage allegedly showed the movement of two suspected terrorists, officials said. According to officials, the two suspects were reportedly seen crossing a road late Sunday night in the CCTV footage, following which a joint operation was initiated by the Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police, CRPF and the Army. Search teams have been deployed across Bhanghai, Hasplote, Karyote, Kopra Top and nearby forest areas to trace the suspected individuals. The operation was underway when the last reports were received, officials said.
