Poonch, Sept 1: All government and private schools across Poonch district will remain closed today in view of heavy rainfall, inclement weather and rising water levels in rivers and nallahs.
The precautionary measure has been ordered by the Chief Education Officer, Poonch, with the safety and security of students and staff being accorded top priority.
All concerned authorities have been directed to ensure strict compliance with the closure order.
