J&K Police Orders Attachment Of Properties Of Five Pakistan-Based Terrorists
Srinagar, Jul 30: Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat has ordered the attachment of properties belonging to five Pakistan-based terrorists as part of the police’s ongoing crackdown on terror operatives and their support networks, officials said on Thursday.
The identities of the five terrorists and details of the properties ordered to be attached were not immediately disclosed.
Officials also said that the Jammu and Kashmir Police has initiated proclamation proceedings against Mohammad Qasim, a senior Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operative currently based in Pakistan.
Qasim’s property in Reasi district was attached in March 2026 following due legal process. He was designated as a terrorist by the Central Government in March 2024.
Police said the latest action is part of sustained efforts to dismantle the infrastructure and financial networks of Pakistan-based terror outfits and their associates operating in Jammu and Kashmir.
