J&K Govt Elevates 88 Assistant Engineers as Incharge AEEs, Transfers 142 Officers

Jammu, Aug 4: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the placement of 88 Assistant Engineers (AEs) and Incharge Assistant Engineers of the Power Development Department's Electrical Wing as Incharge Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs). The orders were issued by the Power Development Department as part of an administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening the functioning of the department. Following the placements, the Government also ordered the transfer and posting of 142 Incharge Assistant Executive Engineers to various divisions across the department. According to the official orders, the newly placed officers will assume charge in their respective postings with immediate effect, while the transferred AEEs have been directed to report to their new places of posting without delay. The reshuffle is expected to enhance administrative efficiency and ensure the smooth execution of power infrastructure, maintenance and distribution works across the Union Territory.
