DGP Nalin Prabhat, Special DGP S.J.M. Gilani Visit Anantnag, Review Security After Terror Attack

Anantnag, July 22: Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat and Special Director General of Police (Coordination) S.J.M. Gilani on Wednesday visited the Lal Chowk area of Anantnag to review the security situation following the recent terror attack in which a police personnel was martyred. Accompanied by senior police officers, the DGP assessed the ground situation and received a detailed briefing from officials leading the ongoing anti-terror operation. The top police leadership also inspected security arrangements and issued directions to ensure the operation is conducted effectively and without delay. The visit comes as security forces have intensified operations to track down the terrorists responsible for the attack. A massive search operation is underway, with additional reinforcements deployed across the area. The entire locality remains under a tight security grid as police and other security agencies continue their efforts to apprehend the attackers.
