DGP Nalin Prabhat Reviews Operations at Thana Mandi, Calls for Sustained Action Against Terror Networks

RAJOURI, Jul 16: Director General of Police (DGP) Jammu and Kashmir, Nalin Prabhat, on Thursday conducted an operational review meeting at Thana Mandi in Rajouri district and directed all stakeholders to maintain sustained efforts against terrorism and neutralise threats posed by Pakistani terrorists. During the review, the DGP took stock of the prevailing security situation, operational preparedness and ongoing counter-terror measures in the area. He interacted with officers and personnel involved in security operations and assessed the challenges being faced on the ground. Nalin Prabhat emphasised the importance of close coordination among all security agencies and urged personnel to remain vigilant and proactive in their approach. He stressed that coordinated intelligence-based operations should continue with a focused objective of dismantling terrorist networks and ensuring peace and security in the region. The DGP appreciated the commitment and dedication of security forces engaged in maintaining law and order and safeguarding the people. He called upon all stakeholders to continue working with determination and professional efficiency to counter infiltration attempts and activities of anti-national elements. He also reviewed operational strategies and directed officers to strengthen ground-level mechanisms, improve coordination and ensure effective response capabilities to meet emerging security challenges. The visit formed part of the ongoing assessment of security arrangements and operational readiness in sensitive areas of Jammu and Kashmir. Senior police officers and security personnel present during the review briefed the DGP about the current security scenario, ongoing operations and measures being undertaken to enhance security in the region.
