Jammu, Sept 3: JKPCC President Tariq Hameed Karra led the national programme of the AICC " Chopal pe charcha " organised by DCC Jammu Urban today at Rajiv Bhawan PCC HQ Shahedi Chowk Jammu.
It was joined by Shri Raman Bhalla Working President J&K PCC , Yogesh Sawhney Ex Minister District President Jammu urban, Ved ahajan I/C HQ, Treasurer Rajnish Sharma, Senior leaders Th. Man Mohan Singh, T S.Tony, Satish Sharma, Amrit Bali,Sanjeev Panda, Sohit Sharma, Dawarka choudhary , Rajinder Singh, Prem Sharma, Sat pal Sapolia, Sandeep Dogra,Parveen Akhtar,Rita Devi, Ram Mangotra, Ajay kumar, Harjeet Singh Baghi,Vijay Malhotra,Rakesh Sharma,Ram Mangotra,Bushan kumar, Pardeep Bhalla,Naresh Digra,Raj Kumar, Rajinder Singh Randhawa, Sanjeev katal, Gurmeet Singh,Pritam Singh, Amna , Santosh, Sunita Sharma, Neelam and others.A large number of prominent leaders, activists and office bearers of DCC and Block Presidents of Jammu were present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering Karra said that Modi government and BJP are trying to divert the attention of the nation from the real issues facing them like " Chanda Chori", Students issues, economic issues, unemployment and their failures on various fronts.
He said that BJP can't hide too long from these issues being discussed and debated in every nook and corner of the country today and are glaring examples of BJP 's failures.
BJP has been trying to cover up and hide behind the other issues being raised by them to divert the attention of the people from these real issues faced by people and great economic distress faced by every common man in this country.
He said that unprecedented price hike of all essential commodities, large scale unemployment faced by the youth and paper leaks and bunglings in recruitments throughout the country.
The youth and students of the country face real time challenges to their career and livlihood under Modi government and the recent students protests of students at Jantar Mantir and elsewhere in the country was the outbursts of their anger,frustration and a silent rebolt against Modi government and BJP all over country.
Working President Shri Raman Bhalla hit out the anti youth,anti students and anti common people policies of BJP government and said that youth of the country is very much annoyed and angry over the policies of education and employment under present regime especially the bunglings and commercialisation of the system.
Bhalla said that youth of the country wants change in the system and leading a revolution in the society who are encouraged by the dynamic leadership of LOP Shri Rahul Gandhi. The programme announced by the AICC shall be taken to every nook and corner of J&K.
DCC Jammu Urban President and former minister Shri Yogesh Sawhney coordinated the programme to highlight the real issues faced by the common people especially youths, students, farmers, small traders and others under the present regime which hides,distorts and diverts the attention of the nation by their tactics.
He said that common people of the country has seen through the designs and tactics of BJP government and party and is no longer ready to be hoodwinked and befooled.
Several other prominent Congress leaders and activists spoke on the occasion and took part in the interactive session and pledged to take it further to people in a sustained campaign.
