Samba: BJP J&K President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma (CA) chaired an organizational meeting in Samba district, taking detailed stock of the party’s organizational activities and reviewing the progress of various programmes being conducted under the Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan.
BJP J&K Vice President and Samba Prabhari Rekha Mahajan, General Secretary Baldev Singh Billawaria, Secretary Arun Sharma, and District President Asha Rani also addressed the meeting.
Sat Sharma, while addressing the meeting, emphasized the need for continuous engagement with the people and effective implementation of organizational and public-oriented programmes. He took specific feedback from the district leadership and workers regarding the ongoing activities under the Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan and reviewed their implementation at the grassroots level.
Sat Sharma said that the Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan provides an opportunity for BJP workers to strengthen their connect with society through meaningful service activities. He called upon the workers to ensure that the programmes are implemented with sincerity, wider public participation and proper coordination, while remaining accessible to people and understanding their concerns.
Sharma further stressed that organizational strengthening and public service must move together, with every worker contributing actively to the party’s programmes. He also discussed preparations for forthcoming activities under the campaign and sought regular feedback from the district organization to ensure effective execution.
As part of the Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan, Sat Sharma also planted a sapling under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ (A Tree in the Name of Mother) initiative, conveying the message of environmental conservation and encouraging people to contribute towards a greener and healthier environment. He said that such initiatives reflect the spirit of service and social responsibility and should be taken forward through wider public participation.

She said that the guidance and feedback from the state leadership would further energize party workers and improve the reach of various programmes across the district.
