Army Chief General Dhiraj Seth Assesses Security Situation In Valley
Srinagar, Jul 8: Army Chief General Dhiraj Seth on Wednesday reviewed the security situation, operational preparedness, and combat readiness in the Kashmir Valley during his visit to the Srinagar-based headquarters of the Army’s 15 Corps, also known as the Chinar Corps.
According to the Additional Directorate General of Public Information (ADGPI), the Chief of the Army Staff was briefed on operational deployments, counter-terrorism efforts, inter-agency coordination, evolving security dynamics, and arrangements for the ongoing annual Amarnath Yatra.
The Army Chief also assessed initiatives aimed at technology absorption, capability enhancement, and integrated combat readiness across the full spectrum of military operations.
During his visit, General Seth commended the troops for their professionalism, dedication, and commitment while operating under challenging conditions. He also appreciated their sustained efforts in maintaining peace and stability in the region, the ADGPI said
