JAMMU, Aug 18: Security forces launched search operations at multiple locations in Udhampur, Reasi and Kathua districts of Jammu and Kashmir following reports of suspected persons moving in the areas, officials said on Tuesday.
Police, along with the CRPF, launched a cordon-and-search operation after receiving information about the movement of two suspected individuals.
According to officials, the two suspects allegedly knocked on the door of a resident, Prakash Chand, in Talot village of Udhampur late Monday night and sought food.
Following the information, security forces intensified searches in the surrounding areas to trace the suspected individuals. Further details are awaited.
